01
A direct route to reviews

How does a Google review card work?

Noor Digital programmes the chip with the direct review link for your Google Business Profile. A customer holds their phone against the card and the Google review box opens with your business already selected and the stars ready to tap. No search, no app, no exact business name to remember.

  • Removing the search is the whole point; most people abandon halfway
  • The customer needs a Google account, which most already have
  • If not, the card still lands them in the right place
  • A printed QR code alongside covers phones that will not tap
  • Both routes end at the same form, so staff explain nothing twice
02
Local trust and discovery

Why do Google reviews matter for a business in Qatar?

Noor Digital sees review count and recency decide local visibility more than most owners expect. For a search like clinic near me in Doha, Google orders local results largely on relevance, distance and prominence, and reviews feed prominence. A business collecting steadily outranks a better one that stopped two years ago.

  • Two clinics side by side on a map; few people call the older profile
  • A family new to Qatar makes that comparison several times a week
  • Reviews clustered around an opening read as a place that peaked
  • A few every week beats a burst once a year
  • Arabic reviews surface for Arabic searches and serve a different audience
03
Choose the right placement

Where should the cards and stands go?

Noor Digital's rule is to put the card where the customer has already stopped moving and already decided they are happy: the payment counter, the bill folder, the reception desk after treatment, the delivery handover, the hand of the person who has just said thank you.

  • A stand nobody mentions collects almost nothing; the sentence is the tool
  • Counter stand at the till, for retail and clinics
  • Table piece or bill-folder card, for restaurants and cafes
  • Pocket card carried by a technician or driver on service calls
  • Order before Ramadan and National Day, when first-time visitors arrive
04
Ask within the rules

Is it against Google's rules to ask for reviews this way?

Noor Digital builds these cards to comply with Google's policy, which permits asking customers for reviews and prohibits three things: offering anything in exchange, asking only the customers you expect to be positive, and discouraging or filtering negative ones. A card that opens the form for everybody is allowed.

  • Review gating routes unhappy customers to a private complaint form
  • It is common, against policy, and those reviews can be removed
  • Noor Digital does not build gating screens, on request or otherwise
  • Discounts, prize draws and staff bonuses tied to reviews all breach it
  • Bought-sounding reviews cost more trust than an honest mixed set
05
Respond and improve

What do we do with the reviews once they arrive?

Noor Digital recommends answering every review, positive and negative, within a couple of days. Replies are public and read by the next customer more carefully than the review itself. Reply in the language the review was written in; an Arabic review answered in English reads as unread.

  • A profile with nothing but five stars reads as managed
  • What damages you is a one-star review unanswered for a year
  • Keep hours correct through Ramadan and the pin off the wrong Lusail tower
  • Do not collect names or numbers through an intermediate page to chase reviews
  • That is undeclared personal data under Law No. 13 of 2016

Questions about Google Review Cards in Qatar

Ask us directly
01

How do we order for several branches, and how long does it take?

Noor Digital prices a multi-branch set as one order: send the branch list, the format for each counter and whether the artwork is designed or supplied. Each chip is programmed to the right branch's Business Profile and tested before dispatch; turnaround depends on the format and quantity and is confirmed in writing with the quotation.

02

Is it allowed to ask customers for Google reviews?

Yes. Noor Digital builds these cards to Google's policy, which allows asking customers for reviews. What it prohibits is offering anything in exchange, asking only the customers you expect to be positive, and routing unhappy ones to a private form instead. A card that opens the review form for everyone is compliant.

03

How much do Google review cards cost in Qatar?

Noor Digital quotes on the format you need - pocket cards, counter stands or table pieces - how many of each, and whether the artwork is designed from your brand or supplied by you. Sets covering several branches are priced as one order. Send us the branch list and we will price it.

04

Will the card work if the customer has an iPhone?

Yes. Noor Digital programmes cards that every iPhone since the XR reads without an app, from a locked screen. To post, the customer must be signed into a Google account, which most already are through Gmail or Maps. A printed code on the same card catches anything older or switched off.

05

Can the review card be in Arabic?

Yes. Noor Digital prints bilingual review cards and stands, with the Arabic set as its own composition rather than the English artwork flipped. Reviews written in Arabic surface for Arabic-language searches on Google Maps, so asking in both languages produces a profile that serves both halves of a Doha customer base.

06

What should we do if we get a bad review?

Noor Digital recommends replying within a couple of days, in the language it was written in, specifically rather than with a template. The reply is read by future customers more carefully than the review. A profile with a few complaints and considered answers reads more honestly than one with nothing but five stars.
